Style and Colour: Champagne style Belgian brut beer, made from a blend of traditional beer, Burgundy wine and Champagne-Ardenne.
Taste: The sparkling Champagne-Ardenne brings a touch of pep, lightness and finesse. Burgundy wine gives a subtly fruity aroma. This blend brings an intense freshness under a burst of fine bubbles.
Alcohol: 9.5 % ABV
Drinking Temperature: 0 - 4 °C
Fermentation: During the ageing of the beer, the brewer goes to Champagne Ardenne to visit small producers in order to obtain quality wines! As soon as the ageing is finished, he blends the beer in the bottle with the two wines, which undergo a second fermentation in the bottle.
The Brewery: The Val de Vendre brewery is located in Ollignies, Belgium. Founded by François Couvreur.
Origin: La Brute is the first beer of this Belgian microbrewery which revisits beer as some revisit the dishes, combining tradition and creativity.
Food: It’s an ideal aperitif beer and ideally matches with fresh oysters.
