Style and Colour: A blend of barrel-aged beers, macerated with Rhubarb and Raspberries.
Taste: Explosions of flavours for a moderate acidity and a balanced beer. The fruit brings freshness, the oak notes present bring roundness as well as length in the mouth.
Alcohol: 6.8 % ABV
Drinking Temperature: 4-6° C
Fermentation: A blend of beers aged in barrels and macerated with Rhubarb and Raspberries. Refermentation in bottle.
The Brewery: Brewery L'Apaisée founded in 2015 in Geneva by Xavier Righetti. Making beer is also a way to return to a more manual and less stressful activity, away from computer screens. The name L'Apaisée (meaning "relaxed") had it all.
Food: Excellent as an aperitif and to accompany your desserts.

Delicious barrel-aged sour
Really well-balanced, tasty sour beer. Really enjoyable mix of the raspberry and rhubarb tanginess and barrel-aged complexities. The 6.9% alc. is totally in check. Has been crafted with care. Makes you smile from the first sip. :)
