Style and Colour: Champagne beer
Taste: Good aromatic power with the roundness of the Gewurztraminer grape variety.
Alcohol: 11.2 % ABV
Drinking Temperature: 4 - 6° C
Fermentation: Medieval beer with lime blossom honey, aged for 18 months in white wine barrels. Disgorged and foamed using the traditional Champagne method. Collaboration with the Père Jakob brewery. 100% local malt, 100% local honey
The Brewery: Brasserie La Pièce founded in 2015 in Geneva by Laurent and Raphaël. Their passion is to make beers that they like and that stand out from the crowd. They prefer short circuits, in the purchase of raw materials and equipment. They use almost exclusively Geneva malt, produced in Satigny with barley grown in the canton of Geneva.
Food: Excellent as an aperitif.
