Style and Colour: Belgian blonde triple abbey beer

Taste: The aromas are suggestive of sherry and aniseed. The taste is full-bodied, with a slightly caramelised flavour.

Alcohol: 9 % ABV

Drinking Temperature: 8 ° C

Fermentation: High fermentation with refermentation in the bottle.

The Brewery: The Abbey of Aulne was founded in 657 by Landelin, an Irish monk, in the Peace Valley, on the banks of the Sambre between Thuin and Gozée, in Wallonia. It was the first abbey under the rule of Saint-Benoît, which became a definitive Cistercian order in the 12th century.

Origin: The alders abounding in this rural setting gave its name to Aulne Abbey (Alders'abbey).

Food: Ideal with all types of seafood.
