Style and Colour: Top-fermented amber beer, brewed with 5 different malts.
Taste: The aromas of special malts and fine hops dominate, with flavours of caramel, toast, malt, hops and a fruity note.
Alcohol: 8.5 % ABV
Drinking temperature: 10 - 12 °C
Fermentation: Top-fermented amber beer, re-fermented in the bottle.
The Brewery: The Brasserie Dupont is located in Tourpes, in Hainaut, Belgium. Founded in 1950, it was a working farm back to 1759.
Origin: First crafted in 2016, Moinette Ambrée has followed La Moinette Blonded created in 1955. For centuries, the region where the brewery is situated, was pretty swampy, (swamp = marais (modern French) = moëne (old French), so the name Moinette was linked to this “moëne region”.
Food: Particularly good with foie gras and onion jam on a toast or with cheeses.

Smooth, warm beer
Red near dark beer. I suggest it in front of a fireplace, drink it as it is. Do not chill that much and enjoy it. It is smooth in mouth and warm.
